Pet Arena
Starter pets can be used to battle in the Pet Arena. Defeating monsters within the arena rewards pet coins and hatch packs. Pet coins are a currency used to purchase items from Graf, an NPC located in each arena level. Graf’s available trades vary by arena and refresh at the top of every hour. Use the table below to select a Pet Arena and view Graf’s current trades as well as each enemy monsters move set:
|
Players can access the Pet Arena by using the /pets command and selecting the totem labeled “Teleport to Arena”, or by using the command Each Pet Arena ends with a pet boss, and defeating an arena’s pet boss is required to unlock access to the next arena. Pet arenas are also environment locked. 1-3 are open when the season starts, 4-6 unlock with underworld, and 7-9 unlock when void releases. While navigating the pet arenas using a trident with riptide and speed potions can reduce your time spent travelling to find new monsters to battle. Bringing bundles to store bulk eggs is also recommended if you plan on grinding pet arena for a long duration of time. | ||||||||||||||||||
Hatch Packs
Hatch Packs can rarely drop from monsters in the Pet Arena, which when opened reward the player with pet eggs. They can also be purchased directly from Graf with pet coins or obtained through crate rewards. There are five types of Hatch Packs, each offering progressively higher chances of obtaining higher-quality eggs:

When you open a hatch pack the pet egg obtained is randomly determined, higher tier packs provide a better chance of receiving higher quality eggs. There are seven egg tiers: common, uncommon, rare, epic, legendary, mythic, and celestial. Eggs also have an extremely low chance to appear as Gold or Ruby variants. Gold variants provide double max attribute bonuses, while Ruby variants grant double max attributes, an additional free ability slot, and a higher prestige cap.

Hatching Eggs
Once a pet egg is obtained, it must be hatched before you get a pet from it. Use the /pets command and select the turtle egg labeled “Hatching”, then move a pet egg from your inventory into an available slot to begin hatching. Additional hatch slots can be purchased from Graf using Petcoins. Hatch times vary depending on egg rarity and can be skipped by spending Cloud Coins or by purchasing hatch skips from Graf. Once hatching is complete, you can crack the egg open in the same hatching interface. The egg transforms into a random pet of the corresponding egg rarity. A full list of pets by rarity is shown below:
Leveling
Level your pet by having it equipped and grinding the relevant task on your island. For example, Water pets are leveled by fishing, Air pets by woodcutting, Fire pets by slaying, Earth pets by farming, Metal pets by mining. Pets grant increased attribute bonuses as they level up, this is doubled if your pet is a ruby or gold variant. All pets have a max level of 15. Starter pets also gain additional health with each level, improving their survivability in pet battles.
After a pet reaches max level (15) you can prestige it in the pet menu by using a prestige token purchased from Graf with pet coins. Pets can be prestiged up to 3 times - or 5 times if it's a ruby pet. Each prestige increases the attribute bonus per level by +1. So a +5 per-level bonus becomes +7 per-level at Prestige 2. Prestiging also requires sacrificing 10 pets of the same rarity and elemental type.
Pet Abilities
Some pets also get special abilities as they level up. There are two categories of pet abilities:
- Starter Abilities are exclusive to starter pets and function as active moves used during pet battles in the Pet Arena. A fully leveled starter pet unlocks a total of three Starter Abilities.
- Standard Abilities are exclusive to higher-rarity pets: Legendary, Mythic, and Celestial. Legendary pets unlock one Standard Ability, Mythic pets unlock two, and Celestial pets unlock three. Ruby pets come with one free ability slot, regardless of rarity. Pets above legendary also give a secondary attribute bonus. All elemental type of pets give scholar, grinder, specialist, and skilled secondary attributes per level, fire type pets can also give enchanter bonuses as a secondary attribute.
When you've leveled a pet enough for an ability choice, a message in chat will appear. Select the pet in the /pets interface and choose the end crystal icon labeled "abilities", You can choose from 2 options. Some pet abilities are only given from certain elemental pets. Ability Re-rolls to change the a pets ability can be purchased from graf in the pet arena for petcoins if you didn't get the ability you wanted from leveling. Having more than 3 of the same type of pet ability doesn't add more procs/bonuses. Below is a full list of Standard and Starter pet abilities:
