Introduction

Skyblock is a popular Minecraft game mode where players start on a small, isolated island with minimal resources. The goal is for players to expand their island, gather materials, and progress from almost nothing. RainyDay closely follows the vanilla Skyblock experience while introducing unique features such as crafting, grinding, progression, exploration, and competition.

Getting started

To begin your adventure on RainyDay's Skyblock, you first need to create your own island. There are two ways to do this:

  • Type the command /is create
  • or: Walk forward from where you spawned and click the Create an Island NPC.

Choosing an Island Template

A menu will open, prompting you to select an island template. These templates will determine the starting blocks you will spawn on, offering varying levels of difficulty and resources. Some templates provide a head start with pre-built cobblestone generators, while others, such as the Advanced template, are more challenging, starting you off with just a 2x2 glass platform. There are also more playful options if you want a bit of variety.

Hover over each template to see its difficulty level. If you're unsure where to begin, the Beginner template is a good starting point for new players.
